Solly Jang – “Play Out”: A Refined West Coast Sound for a New Generation

Released in September 2026

Solly Jang returns with “Play Out,” a new release that draws on the sophisticated textures and timeless atmosphere of West Coast pop, bringing together polished production, melodic songwriting and a distinctly contemporary sound.

Written and composed by Max Centorame, who also produces Solly Jang’s music, “Play Out” continues the artistic direction behind the project: a modern interpretation of the melodic sophistication associated with classic West Coast music, without simply looking back to the past.

The song is built around an elegant musical approach, where melody and arrangement work together to create a smooth, carefully crafted listening experience. Rather than relying on overly predictable pop formulas, “Play Out” explores the refined side of contemporary melodic music, with clear attention to harmony, atmosphere and instrumental detail.

There is a recognizable West Coast flavor throughout the track, but it is presented through a modern production perspective. The result is a sound that recalls the warmth and sophistication of classic AOR and West Coast pop while maintaining its own contemporary identity.

At the center of the project is Solly Jang, the virtual Korean-American artist created by Max Centorame. Solly Jang represents the voice and visual identity of an evolving music project, while Centorame remains the songwriter and producer behind the recordings.

“Play Out” is another step in that development, reinforcing the project's focus on melodic songwriting and polished production rather than short-lived musical trends.

Released in September 2026, “Play Out” is available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, and the major music streaming platforms worldwide.
